I have the feeling a lot of geeks (including myself) are going to be a bit poorer on December 7th… on that day, the Return of the King extended edition DVD will be released, as well as the 10 disc (!!!) Ultimate Matrix box set. That’ll set you back a c-note or more… at least the Star Wars box set is coming out next month, allowing for a little breathing room.

Well, the audition went well – I thought so, anyway. But considering the guy before me was allowed to play all the way through five songs, and I did one whole song, then just half of two more, that’s a pretty clear indication that they weren’t interested in what they were hearing. I definitely would have benefitted from more practice time, but considering I only had a week to gear up for it, I think I did as good as I possibly could. The manager is supposed to call back Monday or Tuesday, but I’m not gonna hold my breath.

I’ve put up about 30 CDs for sale at half.com, so click on the link to the right and help me pay my bills!On an unrelated note, after talking to some other TC guys who had the same kind of chemo I did, it turns out I’ll probably have to wait another month or two for my hair to really start coming back. As long as it grows back before the weather gets cold, I’ll be happy.
