Until I was about 13 or so, pliers were necessary to change the channel on our own TV. Of course, when you only receive five channels, it’s not that big of a deal.
(Nov. 2013: We’ve dropped our cable subscription, so we’re back to a handful of channels. But no pliers required)

I had a strange dream last night – I was in India, and ended up in some “teen club” that was a front for brainwashing kids into being Hindu or Buddhist, or something. Very odd.
